[Featured App Review] Inotia 2: A Wanderer of Luone 05/19/10

Thank you Com2Us for the promo code to this app.

Inotia 2: A Wanderer of Luone is a $4.99 RPG game made by the one and only… Com2Us
RPGs have been on the iPhone for almost as long as there was an iPhone. Many great RPGs have been massively created for years. Some great classics such as Zenonia, Dungeon Hunter, and more, but leave it to Com2Us to create a completely new type of RPG that may equal in greatness with major blockbusters, or even pass them. Com2Us has made a greatly detailed 2D fully functioning RPG game that is fully equipped with all the right features needed to make a major RPG, and even made the unthinkable. An RPG with a touch-to-move screen for movement and attack, how cool is that?! Once you start off, it automatically makes it a touch-to-move screen. You have the choice of leaving it like that, or you can change it back to the classical D-Pad, or V-Pad, most RPG fans are use to. The controls are insanely smooth, with no lag or glitch anyone can find. The only thing about the touch-to-move screen is that attack is sometimes troublesome, since your fingers are bigger than the enemy so you might not touch the enemy and might touch the patch of land beside the enemy. That is extremely fussy.

What’s great is that it is a full game with full game features, but it also includes an online matchup mode for those that finished the game so many times that they could memorize the storyline by word. Of course, now many RPGs have been added with that feature, such as Zenonia 2, but back when this game was created, it was the one. The game was the first RPG to include a global online matchup. For those that have no idea how an online matchup works, it means that you chose one of your characters and you get matched up with another person around the earth to fight in a one on one battle.

The storyline is epically long, with many twists that come along the way. Different Armors and weapons for ever level. Unfortunately, the armors are mostly the same design and color for ever level. Fortunately, the armors that look different when in bag also look different when you put them on. I don’t know about you, but I like that when that happens. I also liked that there was six classes, when their competitors only had three to four classes.

Verdict! The graphics were as good as a 2D RPG game could get. Creative, well there are millions of RPG games out there, good and bad. User Interface was, once again, Fantastic. No need to even explain why. Fantastic game recommended to any RPG fan out there!

Graphics: 5/5
UI: 4.5/5
Purpose: 5/5
Creativity: 3/5
Our rating: 5/5
Total: 22.5/25 or 90%.
